Stokey Library

Taken September 17, 2005 in the lobby of the Stoke Newington library, London. Ahhh, my old neighborhood. I did love it there. I thought this was funny because as swanky as this window is, the inside of the library itself was drab and relatively tiny. The broken bits of the window and worse for wear lamp are signs that this style of architecture comes from another, more luxurious time. I wonder what Stoke Newington was like in it's heyday.

that's a really nice image, with the clouds peeking in and the funky replaced bits of glass and the assorted arcs and angles. very nice.
