our front door is made of panes of glass
kind of like a window
but it's a door, which looks out onto our porch
you can see the leaves they are a fallin'
it's very autumnal out there
yesterday to commemorate the cold and the grey
we had grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch
and then i spent 5 hours making chicken pot pie from scratch
crust and all
it was delicioso
what's even better is that there are leftovers for tonight
which i will enjoy upon my return from hot sweaty yoga
have a lovely wednesday

you mean the little red lantern lights outside? no i bought those, but i have a great idea for making some festive fake flower lights from a string of xmas lights (i actually got the idea from martha stewart), i just need to get my hands on a mess of cheap fake flowers
That's funny because it looks completely different to me now! I thought it was a pull-down shade with little red pom-poms on it! --- Mom has had a string of lights with little fake poinsettias on them for ages. Thye always look really pretty at Christmas time strung around a window.
