FILL THE GAPS

Taking a cue from Mighty Girl's
No One Cares What You Had for Lunch 100 ideas for your blog
we are launching a monthly writing project here at Two Sides One Pond

Or first pick is FILL THE GAPS:
Use memory triggers to help you generate interesting stories. Find a photo you love, upload it, and describe everything you remember about it being taken. Or look through your library and think about where you read a particular book. There are things all around you that can help you piece together anecdotes. You can photograph an object and tell the story of that object. You can think about smells that remind you of other places and times, or textures and sounds that take you back to a memory of any kind.

mary and i will each have a post a response to this on may 1st (tomorrow) and then we will pick another for next month.

stay tuned

Trying to find a single topic for this project has been a challenge in and of itself, but in a way I think it has proved an example of a common problem I have: too many routes, too many options, too much to think about = no action. Thankfully, a deadline has been put in place, so I can struggle through this one and keep the problem in mind for the next project, which I’m really looking forward to!
